2 men arrested for separate crimes against children

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — The Hamilton County Metro Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force said Thursday that it arrested two men on Wednesday for crimes against children.

Michael Knighton from Indianapolis was charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography, while Kole Baker from Alexandria faced charges including promotion of child sexual trafficking and child exploitation.

Detectives served search warrants on social media accounts belonging to Knighton, uncovering evidence of possession of child sexual abuse material. A subsequent search of Knighton’s home revealed over 4,800 photos and videos containing child sex abuse material, primarily involving infants, toddlers, and children under the age of 12. Knighton was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail.

Baker was arrested in Enterprise, Alabama, and extradited to Madison County. Detectives found evidence on Baker’s social media accounts of promotion of child sexual trafficking. Further investigation at Baker’s home showed he was manipulating juvenile females to send him child sex abuse material.
