USA Gymnastics selects Noblesville for proposed training and wellness center

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — USA Gymnastics on Tuesday announced it’s chosen Noblesville as the site for a proposed training and wellness center and office headquarters.

Its facility would be located somewhere in Noblesville’s Innovation Mile, a commercial development area that includes The Arena at Innovation Mile, which will host the NBA G League team that moved from Fort Wayne.

USA Gymnastics has launched a fundraising campaign but has not announced how much it needs to raise. A news release issued Tuesday from the group said, “The campaign will determine the scope and development of the project, which will bring together the sport of gymnastics from youth development through National Team camps.”

The center also would host competitions and hold offices for the organization.

The project aims to break ground in spring 2026 and complete in 2028.

News 8 reached out by email to USA Gymnastics on Tuesday afternoon to learn how much money it hopes to raise, whether there’s a time limit to the fundraising, and whether the Noblesville government has offered incentives to the project.

The release said Noblesville was selected after a thorough process that considered over a dozen proposals from cities across the country.
