BAKERS CORNER, Ind. (WISH) — U.S. 31 southbound is closed at the 236th Street interchange in Hamilton County due to a criminal investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
Police were surrounding a house west of the road as part of the investigation, but details of the investigation were not immediately shared publicly. It was not immediately known if anyone has been injured.
It is not immediately known when the road will reopen.
The interchange is about a 10-minute drive north of downtown Westfield.
