INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A crash involving a semi tractor-tanker, a semi tractor-trailer and a truck hauling 18 sheep led to the animals walking on the highway before first responders got them contained.
INDOT said the crash happened on I-465 eastbound near Keystone Avenue.
Sgt. John Perrine, a public information officer with Indiana State Police, said of the 18 sheep on the truck, one was injured in the trailer and no people got hurt. He said the sheep were contained on the road at the scene to be picked up by another trailer.
It was not immediately clear where the sheep were being taken.
