INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person was critically injured in a shooting on the city’s east side Wednesday, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Around 1:38 p.m. Wednesday, IMPD officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 2000 block of Kildare Avenue. That is a residential area on the city’s east side. Officers arrived and found a person with gunshot wounds.
The person was reported to be in critical condition.
Investigators did not immediately provide any additional information on this incident.
