Kroger is celebrating National Chocolate Milk Day, offering a free half-gallon of its Kroger Brand to customers on Friday and Saturday.
A news release from the Cincinnati-headquartered grocery says the offer is available through a coupon on the Kroger website, allowing customers to redeem it in stores or for pickup and delivery starting at noon Friday. Participating stores will have what was called “an accessible paper coupon.”
The grocery chain with more than 100 Indiana locations said it yearly produced more than 15 million gallons of chocolate milk from its dairy-producing facilities.
The grocer’s website shows that a half-gallon of Whole Chocolate Milk sells for $2.99, and a half-gallon of 1% Lowfat Chocolate Milk usually costs $2.69.
It’s unclear who began National Chocolate Milk Day, but it’s on Saturday in 2025.
