LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. — An Indiana State Police Trooper was shot Friday morning near the Michigan City Exit along I-94, according to ISP.
The shooting happened at a gas station at 2884 U.S. 421.
Police said the trooper was transported to Franciscan Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Indiana State Police will hold a press conference shortly.
