INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana State Fair has temporarily closed its gates Tuesday as a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Indianapolis.
The fair announced the closure on social media.
Fairgoers already on the grounds are asked to seek shelter in an indoor venue immediately.
Those planning to attend are asked to hold off on heading to the fairgrounds until the storm passes.
