LAS VEGAS (WISH) — The Indiana Fever are just one win away from a trip to the WNBA Finals.
The Fever and Las Vegas Aces face off in Game 5 of their semifinal round series on Tuesday night inside Michelob ULTRA Arena. Tip-off is set for 9:30 p.m. EDT.
The Fever and Aces art tied 2-2 in the best-of-five series.
“This is what you work so hard all offseason, all preseason and all season to position yourself for these moments,” Fever head coach Stephanie White said. “So, it’s really exciting for our group. I’m proud of our group for putting ourselves in this position. But we’re not done yet.”
This a must-win game for the Fever, but that’s nothing new for the team. So far this postseason, the Fever are 3-0 in elimination games.
“I just think that this group has had a lot of moments where we felt like our back is against the wall,” White said. “Whether it meant that in our season or not. I think everything that we’ve gone through has positioned us to be able to handle moments like this.”
Should the Fever win, it would be their first trip to the WNBA Finals since 2015.
WISH-TV is on the road with the Fever and will have live coverage from Las Vegas at 5 and 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday.
