ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — An officer with the Anderson Police Department has been arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
On Sunday, the Anderson Police Department was notified that Officer Cintia Velazquez has been arrested on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated by the McCordsville Police Department. This incident is unrelated to her duties with Anderson Police Department and Velazquez was off duty at the time of the arrest, according to the department.
Velazquez has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation conducted by the Anderson Police Department.
