Yearlong investigation nets 15 drug arrests in Howard County
KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) — The Howard County Sheriff’s Task Force is touting 51 arrests in a drug and violence crackdown that lasted a year.
In a news release issued Thursday, the sheriff’s office said Operation Not So Fast led to 15 arrests related to meth, cocaine, and fentanyl trafficking, along with 36 additional arrests.
Officers seized over 18 pounds of drugs, including 10,000 fentanyl-laced pills, seven illegal guns, and more than $25,000 in suspected drug money.
The street value of the seized drugs was estimated to be over $300,000.
