Mon evening forecast – Nov 17, 2025
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After a nice start to the workweek, Indiana is in for a wet Tuesday along with tracking another system later in the week.
Monday night: Dry through sunset, but then widespread showers move in near or after midnight into early Tuesday. There will be some heavy rain in the mix with embedded thunder possible.
Lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Tuesday: Widespread rain continues through daybreak before much of the morning rain moves out closer to lunch. The afternoon and night is when to watch for the potential of additional scattered shower/storm development.

This is where it gets tricky because of the uncertainty with how far north a warm front will get. This will dictate the northward extent of an isolated strong to severe storm risk. More on this setup can be read in the next graphic below.

There is a Level 1 of 5 marginal risk for strong to severe storms mainly south of I-70. Hail and wind will be the main threats.

Highs will vary drastically from north to south. Areas in central Indiana will struggle to get into the 50s while locations south get into the 60s.
Wednesday: Drying out with highs in the low to mid 50s.
7-Day Forecast: We’ll track another system into Thursday and Friday with more rain in the mix. Some thunderstorms will again be possible. Highs look to push back closer to 60 by Thursday.
