INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Very warm conditions expected through the end of the week and also into the weekend. We will look for temperatures to be awfully close to record readings. Dry conditions continue this weekend with a pattern change early next week that could bring some much needed rain across the state.

TODAY: Lots of sunshine for the day today. A few clouds later this afternoon with an isolated shower possible in Western sections of Indiana. We are going to look for high temperatures today right around 87 degrees. Today’s record is 90 degrees and the normal high for this time of year at 72.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies throughout the evening hours tonight. If you are heading to Carmel’s Oktoberfest or any of those high school football games we will look for beautiful conditions. Overnight temperatures fall into the lower 60s.

TOMORROW:  Lots of sunshine heading into the weekend with dry conditions as well. High temperatures on Saturday are right around 87 degrees. If you are heading to any of the college football games on Saturday afternoon they will be dry. It will not feel like fall football weather at all with tailgate temperatures into the upper ’70s and lower ’80s. 

On Sunday mostly sunny skies if you are heading to Lucas Oil stadium for the Colts game we are not anticipating any kind of weather worries. It will be dry for tailgate and for kickoff. High temperatures will be climbing into the mid and upper ’80s.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST:

We will begin to see a pattern change heading into early next week. Monday most of the day will be dry. We will see temperatures still in the mid ’80s. Some rain chances develop late Monday night and also will be scattered on Tuesday. Temperatures do drop back into the ’70s for your Tuesday. Normal high temperatures for this time of year right around the lower 70s.
