Warm sunshine holds through the weekend | October 3, 2025

Drew Friday AM WX

TODAY

Bright and warm under high pressure; highs in the mid 80s with a light southeast breeze around 5 mph. Humidity stays modest, so it feels summery but still comfortable for outdoor plans. Fields and fairways will dry and heat quickly during midafternoon.

TONIGHT

Mostly clear and mild; lows near the low 60s with a gentle southeast wind around 5 mph. Air remains dry and calm, making for easy sleeping with windows open in many neighborhoods.

TOMORROW

Plenty of sun and still dry; highs in the mid to upper 80s with a light south breeze near 5 to 10 mph. Ground and vegetation continue to lose moisture during the afternoon, so take care with any outdoor burning and hydrate if you are out for several hours.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Mostly clear and quiet; lows in the upper 50s to near 60 with light south winds around 5 mph. A great evening for patios and late walks, and still no rain in sight.

SUNDAY

Sunny and warm again; highs in the mid 80s with a light north to northeast breeze near 5 mph. Humidity stays in check, and most locations remain rain free through sunset, keeping the weekend firmly in the dry column.

SUNDAY NIGHT

Mostly clear to partly cloudy; lows near 60 with a light south wind around 5 mph. Clouds may begin to increase late as a weak disturbance approaches from the west.

MONDAY

Hotter ahead of the next system; highs in the upper 80s under partly to mostly sunny skies early, then increasing clouds late. A slight shower chance develops late day, mainly toward the commute, with a light south southwest breeze around 5 mph. Keep an eye on radar for a few first sprinkles.

MONDAY NIGHT

Hopes for beneficial rain finally nudge upward; a few showers may develop after sunset with better chances late evening into the overnight. Lows in the mid 60s with a south to southeast wind near 5 mph. Coverage looks scattered at first, then improves toward Tuesday, which could offer broader rainfall chances.

7 DAY FORECAST

Warm and dry dominates through the weekend, with highs largely in the 80s and mild nights near 60. The pattern begins to bend Monday evening into Tuesday and Wednesday, when rain and a few thunderstorms become more likely as a frontal system approaches. Any measurable rain would be welcome, as drought has developed and, in places, worsened across central and northern Indiana during this warm, dry stretch. If the early week system pans out, it could at least dent the dryness, but totals will hinge on storm coverage and timing.
