INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police say they have arrested a man connected to the shooting death of a UPS worker killed outside a northwest side logistics facility.
News 8 first reported on the shooting in August.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the UPS facility in the 5400 block of West 81st Street just before 10 p.m. Aug. 19 to investigate a person shot incident.
There, they found 22-year-old Larenzo Murray outside the building suffering a gunshot wound. He died shortly arriving at a hospital.
After reviewing evidence, speaking with witnesses, and searching for security camera footage, detectives named Parris Maul, 28, a suspect.
Prosecutors issued an arrest warrant for Maul on Friday, and he was arrested Monday.
Jail records show he was being held at the Marion County Jail without bond on a murder charge. He’s due in court for a hearing Wednesday morning.
