Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra opens season with Dolly Parton Tribute
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra is launching its 2025-26 season with a special tribute to country music legend Dolly Parton.
“Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony” will be Friday and Saturday at Hilbert Circle Theatre on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis.
The symphony reports the show was created to reimagine the country music superstar’s greatest hits, such as “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You,” with stunning orchestration and multimedia storytelling.
Produced by the 79-year-old musician herself, the event will be part of the symphony’s Pops series and features guest vocalists handpicked by the icon.
Tickets available online on Wednesday night for the shows ranged from $15 to 127.44.
