INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police were investigating a fatal overnight shooting on the city’s southeast side.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded at around 11:55 p.m. Monday to a shooting in the 700 block of Turtle Creek North Drive. That’s an address within the Brookwood Apartments at U.S. 31 and Thompson Road.
Officers arrived and found a female who had been shot. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information was immediately available.
