Indiana Parole Board recommends denial for Roy Lee Ward
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Parole Board has recommended Gov. Mike Braun deny clemency for convicted killer Roy Lee Ward.
Ward is scheduled to die by lethal injection on Oct. 10 for the 2001 rape and murder of 15-year-old Stacy Payne.
The Indiana Parole Board held a clemency hearing earlier this week. Braun will make the final decision on whether to grant clemency.
