Sept 23, 2025 morning forecast with Tara Hastings
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Dense Fog Advisory in place until 9:00 this morning. Lots of fog to start off the day much of the day will be dry with just mainly cloudy skies. But we do have some more rain chances working into the forecast later on tonight for the next couple of days and temperatures do drop for the middle part of the work week.

We picked up about a half an inch of rainfall even a little bit more in southern sections of Indiana yesterday. That did put a bit of a dent in the deficit that we have but we could use some more to alleviate some of the drought conditions we have across the state.

TODAY: Look for cloud cover and fog to start off the day this morning. We will look for mainly cloudy skies during the day today with a few isolated showers possible. High temperatures will climb into the upper 70s near 80 degrees.

TONIGHT: Rain develops throughout the overnight hours and we will continue to see the chance for some thunderstorms as well. Beneficial rain continues with low temperatures falling into the lower 60s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy skies expected on your Wednesday a little bit on the cooler side as well. We will see high temperatures only in the lower 70s. Look for some showers and maybe a few scattered thunderstorms throughout the day on your Wednesday.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: Mostly cloudy skies on Thursday with a few spotty showers. Still on the cooler side with high temperatures only into the lower 70s.
We begin to see the weather conditions improve, we’ll look for some more sunshine and begin to dry out later in the work week. High temperatures into the mid-70s on Friday with Sunny skies.

More sunshine and better weather will head in our direction for the weekend. Look for mostly sunny skies with highs near 79 on Saturday. They’re 80° on Sunday with mostly sunny conditions.
