INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Fever caught fire in the second half and pulled away to beat the Atlanta Dream, 77-60, in Game 2 to force a winner-take-all Game 3 in the first round of the WNBA playoffs.
The Fever went on a 27-7 run at the end of the third quarter into the start of the forth quarter to build a lead that the Dream were not able to come back from.
The Fever led 35-29 at halftime.
This is the first playoff win for the Fever since 2015, when the Fever made it to the WNBA Finals, losing to the Minnesota Lynx.
Tipoff for Game 3 on Thursday is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
