Carlie Irsay-Gordon’s message to the Colts team for this upcoming season

WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — The Colts started the 2025 season 8-2 before ending the year on a seven-game losing streak. The team missed the playoffs for the fifth straight season.

Colts Owner and CEO Carlie Irsay-Gordon spoke to the team Tuesday before the first practice of training camp.

“As we reflected on last season, this one phrase just kept coming to my mind, and that was: ‘Find a way.’ So that was the mantra that we settled on for this season,” Irsay-Gordon said. “We came to ‘find a way’ because we thought about, what are the qualities that successful people have? Those qualities are consistency, those qualities are resilience in the face of adversity, and those qualities, most importantly, are a mental toughness and a ‘find a way’ mindset. And I know and believe that on our roster and in our organization, we have everything we need this year to get where we need to go.”

“If we have all the talent, we have everyone we need to get where we need to go, we just have to continue to make sure we’re building a culture that is promoting that inner belief and inner faith that we can do it,” Irsay-Gordon said.

Irsay-Gordon added that the sense of urgency has never been higher.

“I think this year we’ve got all the right guys that we need to be healthy,” Irsay-Gordon said. “We’ve got a great quarterback room. I think we just have to, like I said, keep believing that we’ve got everything we need to get where we need to go.”

Irsay-Gordon is in her second year as the Colts owner and CEO.
