ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — A domestic fight left a 46-year-old man with multiple stab wounds Friday morning at an Anderson hotel, police said.
Anderson Police Department said in a news release that its officers began their investigation after they found the man in Henry County. The release did not give the man’s name, any details on where he was found in Henry County, or where he is from.
The man told officers the stabbing happened at the Red Roof Inn, 6325 S. Scatterfield Road in Anderson.
Medics took the man to a hospital to treat several cuts. Hospital staff said he was stable and expected to release him after 1 p.m. Friday.
Law enforcement in Henry County found a 35-year-old woman, who was not named in the release, connected to the stabbing and held her until Anderson police brought her back for questioning.
No arrest was announced. Anderson police detectives were leading the investigation.
