Mild weekend before early week rain | Nov. 22, 2025

Nov. 22 | Evening Forecast with Meteorologist Drew Narsutis

TONIGHT

Partly cloudy and quiet, lows in the upper 30s, a southwest breeze around 5 mph. It stays dry for evening plans, and any clouds that drift through will not bring rain.

TOMORROW

A very nice late November day with clouds early, then more and more sun by afternoon. Highs reach the mid 50s, with a light west northwest wind around 5 to 10 mph. It will feel comfortably cool and is a great window for walks, church events, or yard work after a stretch of gloomier days.

TOMORROW NIGHT

Increasing clouds and seasonably chilly, lows in the low 30s, wind becoming calm. The clear, calm pockets will let the colder spots dip to or just below freezing by daybreak, so a light jacket is still a good idea for early Monday.

MONDAY

Mostly cloudy but still mild for this time of year, highs in the mid 50s, a south southeast breeze around 5 to 10 mph. Most of the day stays dry and workable outdoors, but clouds continue to thicken as the next system approaches from the southwest.

MONDAY NIGHT

Rain develops overnight, especially after about 1 a.m., lows in the upper 40s, a south southeast wind around 5 to 10 mph. Expect a soaking rain with totals on the order of a quarter to around a half inch by Tuesday morning, so roads turn wet for the early commute.

TUESDAY

Rain is likely, mainly in the morning into midday, then clouds hang tough with only slow improvement later. Highs climb to around 60, a southwest wind near 10 mph. It will not be a severe setup, but you will want extra time for holiday travel and a good raincoat or umbrella for much of the first half of the day.

TUESDAY NIGHT

A few leftover showers are possible early, then mostly cloudy and cooler, lows in the upper 30s, a west southwest breeze around 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to around 20 mph. The trend is toward drying out, but it will feel cooler and a bit brisk late at night.

WEDNESDAY

A much cooler, breezier day with more sun returning, highs in the mid 40s, a west wind around 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to the mid 20s. Even with sunshine it will feel chilly, so plan heavier layers for any longer time outdoors.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Partly cloudy and cold, lows in the mid 20s, a west wind around 5 to 10 mph. A solid freeze is expected, so bring pets in and keep an eye on any exposed pipes or leftover outdoor plumbing.

7 DAY FORECAST

Sunshine and mild, quiet weather hold through the rest of this weekend into Monday with highs mostly in the 50s and nights in the 30s. A stronger system brings a soaking rain Monday night into Tuesday, followed by a cooler and breezier pattern for mid to late week as highs drop back into the 40s Wednesday and then the 30s on Thanksgiving and Friday, with lows in the 20s. Overall confidence is high in the mild weekend, the Monday night through Tuesday rain window, and the much colder air settling in for the holiday stretch across central Indiana.
