INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police say a man was found shot dead and another was hurt in a shooting on Indy’s west side.
Online police reports show Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of North Concord Street near West 16th Street and Tibbs Avenue around 1:30 p.m. to investigate a person shot.
There, officers discovered a man dead from a gunshot wound.
Shortly after arriving at the Concord Street incident, IMPD says a second victim from the scene arrived at a hospital with gunshot wound injuries. That second person’s condition was unknown.
It was not clear what led up to the shooting or if there were any suspects.
A public information officer was expected to release more information sometime Tuesday afternoon.
