INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A little bit of patchy fog possible in the northern part of the state today. We will see lots of sunshine this afternoon at high temperatures above normal. It will feel more like summer heading into the weekend with temperatures climbing into the ’80s. We could use some more rain but we have a long dry stretch in place throughout the next week or so.
TODAY: Dense Fog Advisory in place for Central and Northern sections of Indiana through about 9:00 this morning. Look for lots of sunshine for the afternoon with high temperatures climbing to 79. We will see readings continue to be above normal as we head into the weekend.


TONIGHT: If you are heading to the Indiana Fever game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse or high school football later this evening look for clear skies with no trouble spots at all. Temperatures will be into the ’70s at kickoff. Low temperatures overnight will fall into the ’50s so another cool start to your Saturday morning.


TOMORROW: Sunny skies continue on your Saturday. Look for high temperatures into the lower ’80s for the afternoon. Mostly sunny skies expected on Saturday and also on Sunday as well. High temperatures will climb into the mid ’80s for Sunday afternoon. This will be about 10 degrees or so above normal for this time of the year.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: Dry conditions continue for the weekend and also into early next week as well. A quiet weather pattern in place so look for lots of sunshine on Monday with highs into the mid-80s. Temperatures continue to climb into the low ’80s for Tuesday and near 80 on Wednesday. We will start off the month of October on a warm note and a dry note with partly cloudy skies.
