Sept 25, 2025 morning forecast with Tara Hastings

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A soggy start to your Thursday morning but we will see some more sunshine later this afternoon. We are going to see wonderful weekend temperatures climbing above normal and a long dry stretch of weather expected over the coming days. 

We picked up some significant rain across parts of the state over the last couple of days. Still seeing some dry conditions with moderate drought across much of Indiana. We will see dry conditions heading into the weekend and also as we begin the month of October.

TODAY: Leftover showers will be possible early this morning. Those rain chances will move off to the east of us by later in the morning. Mainly cloudy skies to start off the day but we will look for the clouds to decrease later in the afternoon. High temperatures today will be climbing into the mid and upper 70s.

TONIGHT: The sky becomes mostly clear later on tonight. We could see a little bit of some patchy fog developing across parts of Indiana. Low temperatures will fall into the mid-50s so a bit on the cooler side to start off your Friday morning.

TOMORROW: Look for mostly sunny skies on Friday. We’ll see dry conditions with temperatures a few degrees above normal for this time of year. High temperatures will climb right around 78.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST:  The weekend looks wonderful! Look for lots of sunshine on Saturday with high temperatures into the lower ’80s. On Sunday temperatures stay into the lower 80s dry conditions with lots of sunshine. 

The new work week also brings pretty quiet conditions. Look for mostly sunny skies on Monday with highs in the lower ’80s. Lower ’80s continue into Tuesday and Wednesday as we begin a new month. Look for mostly sunny skies through the end of September and the beginning of October.
