Marcus’ 4 a.m. Tuesday forecast
(INDIANAPOLIS) — Central Indiana is set to experience showers today, with a few thunderstorms possible in the southern portions of the state.
Today:
A weak low pressure system moving into the Midwest will keep skies cloudy and and conditions wet, with on and off showers and thunderstorms through the day. Temperatures will range from the low 40s in the northeast to near 60° in the southwest.

The showers are expected to continue through this evening, with a few thunderstorms potentially developing in southern Indiana later today. While severe weather is unlikely, a stray storm with small hail cannot be ruled out.

Tonight:
Most rain will end by late evening, but low clouds and fog are expected to develop overnight. Areas of fog are likely after midnight, with patchy dense fog potentially reducing visibility to ¼ mile or less in spots.

Later this week:
Seasonable temperatures will persist through the weekend, with mostly dry conditions outside of a few areas of drizzle early Wednesday. A weather system from the Southwest is expected to bring more rain Thursday into Friday, with roughly ½ inch of rain possible by Saturday.
