Tue evening forecast – Sep 23, 2025
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’re tracking our next wave of rain and storms into Wednesday. Then, we’re back to warming up by the final weekend of September with a drying trend.
Tuesday night: Next round of showers and storms arrives mainly after sunset. Some heavy rain is expected at times, and some of you could be awakened by the thunder tonight.


Lows in the mid 60s.
Wednesday: On/off showers and storms expected through Wednesday. There is a low Marginal Risk (level 1/5) for isolated stronger storms south of Indy for Wednesday afternoon-evening south of Indy for damaging wind.



Highs in the low to mid 70s.
Thursday: A few showers may linger through Thursday with highs once again only in the low to mid 70s. Additional rainfall amounts for some areas near/south of I-70 could be up to 1-2″ with this system.

7-Day Forecast: We’ll fully dry out by Friday and begin our next warming trend. This trend will carry through the final weekend of September with highs back in the upper 70s.
