Feb 12, 2026 morning forecast with Tara Hastings

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –  A few slick spots are possible early this morning as temperatures once again are below freezing. We will look for some sunshine to start off the day and then more clouds later in the afternoon. A gradual warming trend as we go throughout the end of the week and the weekend. Rain chances will ramp up for Saturday evening and Sunday.

TODAY: Temperatures starting out below freezing again so some slick spots are possible. We will see some sunshine early this morning before more clouds move in for the afternoon. We’ll see much more cloud cover than what we’ve had the last few days. High temperatures today are right around 42 degrees so a couple of degrees above normal for this time of the year. High pressure is nearby that means very light winds expected through the entire day.

TONIGHT: Some more refreeze could be possible later tonight as temperatures fall to 26. Look for a partly cloudy sky.

TOMORROW: Friday will be a beautiful day. Look for lots of sunshine with high temperatures right around 47. Winds will continue to be light.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: We are still watching the system that will head across the state for the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday high temperatures will be right around 50 degrees. Clouds will increase on Saturday with some rain chances now right around the late afternoon early evening hours. That rain will continue overnight into the first part of Sunday morning. Sunday late morning and afternoon will be dry but incredibly mild with highs right around 52.

Next week temperatures continue to climb. High temperatures on Monday near 57 with dry conditions.

Near 60 on Tuesday with partly cloudy skies. And nighttime lows will be very mild as well and above freezing.
