INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man died after a shooting Tuesday afternoon at a housing subdivision on the city’s northwest side, Indianapolis police said.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called to an incomplete 911 call just after 4:10 p.m. Tuesday in the 5200 block of Austral Drive. That’s in the Bayswater at Eagle Creek housing subdivision southwest of the I-465 interchange for West 56th Street.
Details about the shooter or motive were not immediately shared publicly. Information on the person who died also was not immediately available.
The Austral Drive shooting marks the fifth fatality in shootings since late Monday night in Indianapolis.
