INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis 500 qualifications have been postponed until Sunday due to rain.
The entire field of 33 drivers will now be set on Sunday.
Qualifying will start on Sunday at noon.
Here is the schedule for Sunday:
- Practice – 9:30 a.m.
- Qualifying – 12 p.m.
- Top 12 qualifying – 4:30 p.m.
- Firestone Fast 6 – 6 p.m.
Each driver will only have one qualifying attempt in initial qualifying, which determines positions 13-33.
Each driver will have one qualifying attempt in the Top 12, with the drivers with the top six speeds advancing to the Firestone Fast 6. The pole winner and the first two rows (positions 1-6) will be determined in the Firestone Fast 6.
