INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A cold start and a cold end to the day. We will look for breezy conditions along with cold temperatures. More snow enters the picture late tonight into early tomorrow morning. A reinforcing shot of cold air moves in for the weekend sending temperatures into the single digits for some parts of the state.
TODAY: Some clear skies to start off your Thursday morning. We will look for temperatures to be below normal this afternoon. Highs will only reach around 26 which is about 10 degrees below normal for this time of the year. Winds will be a bit brisk out of the north and northwest sending feels like temperatures into the teens for the majority of the day.



TONIGHT: More snow moves in later tonight. Could create some slick conditions for your Friday morning commute. Low temperatures will fall right to about 22.


TOMORROW: A snowy start with some possible slick spots. Light scattered snow showers are possible throughout the day. We could pick up about an inch maybe 2 in in some spots across parts of Central Indiana. We are going to look for high temperatures on Friday to climb near 37. It will still be a bit breezy at times throughout the day.





7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: A cold weekend on top across most of the state. Mostly cloudy skies on Saturday some isolated snow showers possible. High temperatures will be right around 25 degrees. It gets even colder on Sunday, partly cloudy and very frigid with highs only near 18. But starting out on Sunday we could see temperatures into the single digits. Partly cloudy on Monday no real big warm up expected with readings around 20.

Finally by the middle part of the work week we could see those temperatures right around freezing.
