Thursday Morning Forecast 10-15-26
INDIANAPOLIS- A second wave this week of showers and storms arrives later this afternoon and evening, one or two could be strong to severe.
TODAY: The first half of your Thursday will be most cloudy with highs climbing this afternoon into the mid 70s. Scattered rain and storm chances move in later this afternoon around and after 3pm. There is a level 1 risk of severe weather for today. Main impacts will be gusty winds and downpours, but there will be enough spin in the atmosphere to support a brief spin up tornado especially south of Indianapolis.

TONIGHT: Scattered showers and storms will turn more isolated overnight with lows sliding back into the low and mid 50s.
TOMORROW: The front will be slow to clear so a few lingering showers are possible in the morning hours. The main story will be the wind, gusting 30-40mph for much of the day out of the northwest. That will keep highs in the mid 50s all day long.

TOMORROW EVENING: A few wrap around showers will work in from the north, so not all of our high school games will remain rain free. It will be cool as well with temperatures around 50 degrees! Lows will fall to around 40 overnight, so most should avoid the frost but some isolated spots could see some patchy areas of frost.
SATURDAY: Mainly sunny and cool with highs in the mid 50s. Fall weather for sure for IU vs Ohio state kicking off at noon. Expect a temperature around 51 degrees!
SUNDAY: Temperatures will fall to around the mid 30s Sunday morning, leading to a better chance of frost formation. A south wind and sunshine will warm us up to the mid 60s in the afternoon. Ideal weather for Colts and Titans kicking off at 1pm on Sunday!
7 DAY FORECAST: Very quiet weather next week with temperatures getting warm each day, back into the mid 70s by Wednesday.
