MONROE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Monroe County on Thursday.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened at the intersection of N. Starnes Road and W. Reeves Road around 7:47 p.m.
Deputies responded and learned a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling south on N. Starnes Road and a Ford Fusion traveling west on W. Reeves Road collided within the intersection.
The motorcyclist, identified as a 49-year-old Bloomington man, died.
The 16-year-old female driver of the other vehicle, from Spencer, is cooperating with investigators, police said.
The crash is being investigated by the Monroe County Major Crash Investigation Team.
