WHITELAND, Ind. (WISH) — A man died in a Monday afternoon crash in Whiteland, police say.
According to the Whiteland Police Department, at 3:57 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of U.S. 31 and Whiteland Road on the report of a two-vehicle crash.
Police arrived to find a male driver who died at the scene. The other driver, who was also a male, was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The intersection remains closed as the investigation is still ongoing.
Police did not provide any additional information regarding the incident and say the identify of the man who died will be released once his family is notified.
