INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person is dead and another is seriously injured following a crash on Indianapolis’ south side early Monday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the area near U.S. 31 and Stop 11 Road, where they initially received reports of a hit-and-run. When officers arrived, they found at least one vehicle involved in the crash.
Police say they believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The identities of those involved have not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
