LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) — Two people were hurt and two are in police custody after a shooting in a Lebanon home, police said.
According to a Lebanon Police Department Facebook post, officers responded to the 2400 block of Point Road at about 11:25 Thursday night to a report that a person had been shot in the house.
The house was in the Sunbrook subdivision on the northside of Lebanon.
When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old who had been shot. That victim has yet to be identified.
Police also found 20-year-old Jacob Eaton suffering from a gunshot wound in the house.
Both were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
After an initial investigation, officers brought 19-year-old Jacob Large of Elwood in for questioning. He was later identified as the shooter and taken into custody.
Police took Eaton into custody after searching the house. He was taken to the Boone County Jail on multiple drug-related charges, including felony dealing offenses.
The Lebanon Police Department said the investigation is ongoing and that the charges are preliminary and subject to change.
The Lebanon Fire Department, Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Whitestown Police Department and Witham Medics assisted with the investigation.
