Taste of Bloomington to return with more than 70 food vendors

Taste of Bloomington Returns Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — The Taste of Bloomington is on Saturday. The annual food festival is free to go to, and offers food from more than 70 vendors and live music.

The festival’s organizer, Jordan Davis joined daybreak on Monday to discuss what people can expect. Ethan Lieser also joined daybreak from BuffaLouie’s to talk about what vendors are offering.

“We have an amazing culinary scene in Bloomington. So we want to give people the opportunity to try everything that we have to offer. So it’s free to attend. All the food is $5 or less. Last year, we had 20,000 people and 50 food vendors. This year, we have 75,” Davis said.

The event is on Saturday, August 1 from 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Kirkwood. It is free to enter and each booth will price their items at $5 or less.

“Everything’s affordable. Everything’s $5 all across Taste of Bloomington. So that’s super cool. And another special milestone is BuffaLouie’s is celebrating 40 years this year. And as we embark on our 40th anniversary, we also are beginning franchising,” Lieser said.

There is also a huge music lineup of local and well known bands. Here’s the official Taste of Bloomington lineup, with over 70 vendors:
