INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person was killed in a shooting on the far east side of Indianapolis early Monday morning, police said.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the shooting in the 10300 block of Trent Court around 5:30 a.m.
That address is in the Bristol Square Apartments near East 25th Street and North Mitthoefer Road, just north of I-70.
Officers arrived to find a victim with gunshot injuries. Police said the victim was in critical condition, but later confirmed directly to News 8 that they died.
