INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An man is dead after being shot at a BP gas station Sunday evening on Indy’s northeast side.
According to a release from Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, at approximately 6:58 p.m. officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 3800 block of North Mitthoefer Road, which is right off 38th Street.
According to Captain Ray, the shooting was between two people. Ray says the suspect will be caught and that there’s no ongoing threat to the community.
A man was detained at the scene, but police do not know if he is connected to the incident.
Police didn’t provide any information on the suspect.
