INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person died early Saturday morning after a shooting on the city’s southeast side, Indianapolis police said.
Just before 4 a.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a call for help at a home in the 1700 block of James Run Way. That’s a neighborhood off of Brookville Road/U.S. 52, south of the intersection of Prospect Street and Mitthoeffer Road.
Officers arrived and found a person who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
IMPD did not share any details about the victim or what led to the shooting.
No other information was immediately available.
