Marcus’ 4 a.m. Wednesday forecast
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Dreary and cool weather today, with low clouds, fog, and drizzle, while another round of rain is expected to arrive by Thursday.
Today:
Low clouds and a cool, damp feel throughout the day, with highs only rising slightly from morning temperatures.

Tonight:
Clouds may lower again, with light winds and trapped moisture leading to more fog, including patches of dense fog. Lows will only fall a couple of degrees overnight.

Rain returns:
A low pressure system is expected to bring widespread rain to Central Indiana from Thursday afternoon through Saturday morning. The rain will come in two waves: the first wave on Thursday and Thursday night, while the second wave on Friday and Friday night.

Rainfall amounts are expected to be around 1 inch over much of the state, with locally higher amounts possible.

Temperatures during this period will remain seasonable, generally in the 40s to 50s.
7 day forecast:
Looking ahead to Sunday through Tuesday, the weather is expected to be dry and seasonable. More rain chances are expected by the middle of the week, which could lead to another cold spell on or after Thanksgiving next week.
