The Zone has highlights from these 22 games in Week 7

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s another exciting week of high school football in central Indiana, and WISH-TV has it covered.

The following 22 games will have highlights on “The Zone,” airing on WISH-TV at 11:08 p.m. on Friday night.

#3 (5A) Cathedral at #2 (6A) Center Grove

Cathedral (4-2) is on a three game win streak, and looks to keep it going against Center Grove. The Trojans are still undefeated and picked up their second shutout of the year last week against Lawrence Central. Cathedral won the matchup between the two teams last season.

#9 (6A) Warren Central at #7 (6A) Lawrence North

It’s a matchup between two undefeated teams in MIC play. Warren Central (5-1) has won five straight games and Lawrence North (5-1) has won four straight games. Lawrence North has won four straight games in the series.

#6 (6A) Westfield at Avon

Westfield (4-2) lost their second game of the season last week to Brownsburg. Avon (3-3) fell on the road to Fishers last week. Avon last beat Westfield in 2019.

Zionsville at #1 (6A) Brownsburg

Zionsville has won back-to-back games in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference. Brownsburg is on an 11 game win streak .

#4 (6A) Carmel at Ben Davis

Carmel has rebounded from their lone loss of the season with back-to-back 49 point victories. Ben Davis (1-5) has lost three straight games. In the last 10 meetings between the two teams, each time has won five times.

Franklin Central at #8 (6A) Fishers

Franklin Central (4-2) picked up its second conference win last week against Noblesville. Fishers (4-2) is tied for second in the conference at 3-1 with Westfield. Franklin Central won the matchup between the teams last season.

Lawrence Central at North Central

North Central (2-4) lost in lopsided fashion to Carmel last week. Lawrence Central (3-3) was shutout by Center Grove last week. North Central last won in the series in 2020.

Franklin at #6 (5A) Plainfield

Franklin (3-3) got back in the win column last week against Mooresville. Plainfield’s undefeated start was snapped by Decatur Central last week.

Noblesville at HSE

HSE has lost three straight games. Noblesville is looking for its first win in Hoosier Crossroads Conference action.

#10 (6A) Decatur Central at Greenwood

Decatur Central (4-2) finds its way into the top ten this week after beating Plainfield for its fourth straight win. Greenwood picked up its first conference win last week against Perry Meridian.

Guerin Catholic at Pike

Pike is 1-5, but the Red Devils took Warren Central to overtime last week. Guerin Catholic (3-3) has lost back-to-back games, but both were against top ten opponents. Pike won the matchup last season, 42-3.

Greenwood Christian at #6 (2A) Lutheran

Lutheran (5-1) has won three straight games and looks to stay atop the Indiana Crossroads conference. Greenwood Christian (1-5) looks to get its first conference win.

Martinsville at Perry Meridian

Martinsville (2-4) lost last week to Whiteland. Perry Meridian has lost three straight games since starting conference season with a win against Franklin.

#3 (2A) Lapel at Heritage Christian

Lapel (6-0) looks to continue its undefeated start to the season. Heritage Christian (4-2) has won three straight games. Heritage Christian won the matchup between the teams last season.

Whiteland at Mooresville

Whiteland (4-2) has won three straight games since starting conference play with a loss to Decatur Central. Mooresville (3-3) has lost two straight games.

#8 (3A) Tri-West at Monrovia

Tri-West (5-1) has won three straight games. Monrovia (3-3) has won back-to-back games. Tri-West won the last matchup between the teams in 2023.

#4 (5A) Lafayette Jeff at Kokomo

Kokomo (2-4) has won back-to-back games. Lafayette Jeff (5-1) has won five straight games. Both teams are undefeated in North Central Conference action.

Delphi at Sheridan

Delphi (2-4) was shutout last week by Clinton Prairie. Sheridan (4-1) has won three straight games in Hoosier Heartland Conference action.

Indian Creek at Triton Central

Triton Central suffered its first loss of the season last week to Lebanon. Indian Creek has lost two games in a row since starting the season 4-0.

Lebanon at Danville

Lebanon is on a five game win streak since losing its season opener. Danville (3-3) won last week against Cincinnati Bacon (Ohio).

Clinton Central at Carroll (Flora)

Clinton Central has lost four straight games since starting the season 2-0, all of its losses being in conference action. Carroll (Flora) (3-2) is 2-1 in conference play.

Irvington Prep at Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian

Irvington Prep (1-4) looks to get back in the win column against Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian, who is 1-5 this season.
