INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Dalewood Farms LLC, a family-owned agritourism and livestock business in Daleville, Indiana, is expanding its offerings with new meat subscription boxes, providing customers with premium farm-fresh meats directly from their pasture-raised heritage-breed pigs.
The farm, co-owned by Maci Pryor and Brian Webb, operates under the motto ‘Pasture-Raised. Purpose-Driven.’ and focuses on sustainable farming practices. The new subscription boxes, available in five or ten-pound intervals, offer a variety of pork cuts and are part of the farm’s mission to bring quality and transparency to customers’ tables.
Dalewood Farms was established around five years ago, during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Pryor and Weber decided to turn their love for animals and farming into a business. Initially, they focused on reducing their own grocery bills, but soon expanded to serve the community.
The farm spans five acres and includes a 22,000 square foot pasture, which was built with the help of local Amish friends. This expansion allows the farm to maintain its operations efficiently, even as costs rise.
The subscription boxes are designed to cater to customers who may not want or need a whole pig or goat. Options include a ‘breakfast blend’ with pork chops, ham, and sausages, or a ‘tour of the hog’ featuring various cuts. Prices start at $49, and a 10% discount is available for subscriptions purchased before November 1, 2025.
Dalewood Farms’ expansion into meat subscription boxes reflects its commitment to sustainable farming and community engagement. With the new offerings, the farm aims to provide customers with high-quality, pasture-raised meats while fostering a deeper connection to local agriculture.
