INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After months of investigating who may have sold him the drugs that led to his overdose, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says they’ve arrested a suspect for the death of 25-year-old Tanner Ballard.
IMPD says that Ballard died April 12 at the Carlton Apartments, near Township Line Road and 86th Street. Once the investigation began, police says they were able to identify 25-year-old Carolyn Laucher as the suspect.
Police said that they searched a home in Danville, Indiana May 9 in relation to the death of Ballard.
Aug. 8, IMPD said they found and arrested Laucher in the 700 block of Shepard Street.
Laucher has been charged with dealing drugs resulting in death.
