Caitlin Clark tosses a football at Fever practice
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is getting ready to make her return on Wednesday afternoon against the Golden State Valkyries.
Clark is no longer listed on the injury report after missing the previous five games with a groin injury.
Fever head coach Stephanie White said on Tuesday after the team’s practice that she anticipates Clark to be available on Wednesday barring any setbacks.
Following Tuesday’s practice, News 8 Sports’ Andrew Chernoff captured a video of Caitlin Clark throwing a football, which has since gone viral. Clark’s throw was a perfect pass, which could be considered a touchdown.
“It’s a tiny football. Probably could chuck it a mile long,” Clark said.
