INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – We will see temperatures near normal for the next couple of days but a big cool down will move in for the end of the weekend. We will definitely see a taste of fall across much of the Great Lakes.

TODAY: Look for mostly cloudy skies to start off the day today. We will see a little bit of sunshine later this afternoon. Humidity values still stay pretty low for much of the day today bringing pleasant conditions in place. We will look for a little bit of sunshine later this afternoon with high temperatures climbing into the lower 80s. Normal high for this time of year is about 84.

TONIGHT:  If you were heading to the high school football games tonight, no need for the rain gear. Look for mostly clear conditions with temperatures into the ’70s at kickoff. Overnight we will see partly cloudy skies with low temperatures falling into the lower 60s.

TOMORROW: A cold front moves across the state on Saturday we will see an increase of cloud cover throughout the day. Much of the afternoon will be dry with highs in the lower 80s. There is a very slight chance we could see a spotty shower in the northern sections of the states Saturday night as the cold front approaches.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: We will see a taste of fall after the cold front moves through. Look for mostly sunny skies on Sunday. High temperatures will be into the upper 70s. Look for lots of sunshine on Monday and Tuesday and in fact dry conditions continue through the rest of the week. High temperatures will be below normal into the low and middle ’70s. Those nighttime lows will be falling in the ’50s. Some locations could be into the 40s across parts of Northern Indiana.
