SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) — Ty Gibbs won the NASCAR In-Season Challenge and $1 million, beating Ty Dillon at the Brickyard 400.
Gibbs finished in 21st and Dillon finished in 28th.
“It’s super cool and very honored to be in this position and very blessed to be in this position,” Gibbs said.
Gibbs was the No. 6 seed in the bracket. He beat Justin Haley, AJ Allmendinger, Zane Smith, Tyler Reddick, and Dillon on his way to the $1 million title.
Bubba Wallace won the Brickyard 400 on Sunday, with the race finishing in double overtime. Kyle Larson finished second and Denny Hamlin finished third.
