INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A toasty Tuesday with some sunshine and warm temperatures. We will also see some scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms not only for today but for the next several days.
TODAY: It is going to be warm and humid with temperatures climbing into the upper ’80s. High humidity will push feels like temperatures climb into the lower 90s. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible later this afternoon some of which may contain some heavy rainfall. Nothing severe is expected but we could see some heavy rainfall at times.
TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms end later this evening. Look for a partly to mostly cloudy sky under mild and muggy conditions. Low temperatures will only fall into the lower 70s.
TOMORROW: Partly cloudy skies on your Wednesday it’s still going to be warm and humid. High temperatures will climb into the mid and upper ’80s. High humidity will push feels like temperatures into the low 90s. Showers and thunderstorms yet again will be possible into the afternoon hours. Areas in northwestern sections of Indiana may see some gusty winds from some of these thunderstorms that do develop.
7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: Similar situation as we head into your Thursday. Partly cloudy skies high temperatures in the upper 80s with feels like temperatures into the low and middle ’90s. Showers and thunderstorms will pop later in the afternoon and some of those could contain some heavy rainfall.
On Friday we will look for high pressure to keep us dry but also hot for the end of the week. Look for mostly sunny skies with highs into the middle ’80s.
For All-Star weekend it is going to be a hot one. Partly cloudy skies with a chance for some showers and thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s with feels like temperatures into the ’90s.
Next week it is going to be on the hot side. Early indication suggests that the weather pattern will be hot and humid with high temperatures into the ’90s and feels like temperatures into the triple digits.
