Tippecanoe County deputies arrest 22-year-old man after pursuit

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — A 22-year-old man from Tippecanoe County was arrested Sunday after a pursuit with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department.

On Sunday, Tippecanoe County deputies were attempting to locate Noah Conley, a 22-year-old man from Tippecanoe County, who was wanted on a felony warrant for a probation violation in relation to an auto theft and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Deputies arrived at a residence and spoke with different people before Conley arrived in the area in his vehicle. After seeing deputies, Conley fled the area in his vehicle and deputies initiated a pursuit.

Conley led deputies through the northeast portion of the county for 25 minutes. The pursuit ended near the intersection of East 300 North and North 500 East in Tippecanoe County. Conley was taken into custody without incident. There were no injuries resulting from the pursuit.

Conley was arrested and transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail, where he was preliminarily charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle creating substantial risk of injury, obliterating identifying marks on a handgun, criminal mischief to an agricultural operation, criminal recklessness, reckless driving, driving while suspended – prior, and outstanding warrants through Benton County.

The Delphi Police Department and Indiana State Police assisted Tippecanoe County deputies.
